“Knowing yourself is to be rooted in Being,

instead of lost in your mind.”

About

Louise Pitcher, CPCC, is a certified professional co-active coach and mindfulness meditation teacher helping people navigate stress and its effects.  Louise attained her accreditation in  mindfulness meditation through The Awareness Training Institute, and Greater Good Science Center with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.  Louise studied coaching at the following ICF accredited coach training schools: The Coaches Training Institute (CTI) in San Rafael, California and The Institute for Life Coaches Training (ILCT) in Byron Center, Michigan.  In addition, Louise has studied mindfulness and meditation for eighteen years including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Byron Katie’s “The Work.”

Louise has learned from her own journey back to healing that most stress is internally generated.  What gets in the way of managing our stress appropriately is the way we interpret and react to change and adversity. Stress is inevitable, and if we don’t have the necessary skills to cope, we end up making life harder than it needs to be for ourselves, often unplugging from life and settling with “barely getting by.”

In addition to coaching, Louise teaches mindfulness meditation classes, and offers workshops both in person or online.  Through coaching and teaching, she prepares her students to navigate life's large and small crises.
